WE tv recently announced that Atvttcyv Sunday, July 23, 2006 airing of the networks original hit series Bridezillas ranked as the networks highest-rated original series telecast in the cable channels history. Bridezillas, a narrative type reality wedding show, Herculoids become an anchor show for the network and features a series of brides from across the United States who are in the midst of planning and preparing for their wedding day. The show first aired in June of 2004 and has steadily gained in popularity ever since. The hook of the show (where you can watch real brides go from sweet to certifiable) is that the brides are filmed while oscillating between being kind, soft spoken and gracious one minute to suddenly wild, shrieking and monstrous divas the next. The tagline of the show reads, Shes engaged, enraged, and about to be committed! and has featured many completely out of control brides. The show movie monsters to connect with viewers by startling them with the unpredictable mood swings of the bride, and surprising them with the indulgent and loving faade of the groom and surrounding friends and family. Each bride appears to be even more demanding and egocentric than the rest, and leaves us wondering how wedding professionals deal with these angry brides. We tv has taken advantage of the series popularity by pushing out several marketing initiatives including a frosting and chiffon-laden obstacle course in New York City, awarding the winner with cash and Retrotvguqrxjfawyn in order to plan her wedding. We tvs internet now features corresponding activities and features to further engage the shows most rampant fans. The huge popularity of the show has brought the term Bridezilla to the forefront of pop culture lingo. The show strikes a huge cord with female viewers ages 19-35, many of whom can understand the stressors of planning their own wedding or else being as a bridesmaid to a friend or family member who had turned into a bridezilla.
